Dustin’s career in construction spans his entire adult life. Dustin has been working in the insulation industry since 2007. After moving to Las Vegas in 2002, he started with a major garage door company before transitioning to insulation and glass. In 2018, he helped launch Battle Born Specialties to preserve the independent contractor spirit and provide exceptional service.

Dustin’s favorite part of his work is the people—whether it’s building relationships with customers or collaborating on custom projects. He values the loyalty and dedication of his team, who share his commitment to quality workmanship.

Outside of work, Dustin enjoys riding motorcycles, spending time with his family, and enjoying vacations when he can. His advice for anyone considering a career in insulation or the trades? Go for it! “You can build a career without incurring student debt. Someone committed to the industry will always have work.”

Oz brings two decades of experience to the glass and mirror trade. He started in the industry in 2004 at Southwest Glazing, where he learned to cut windows and mirrors and then assisted with custom glass installations. In 2006, he joined Silver State Specialties, working his way up from installer to manager before starting Battle Born Specialties in 2018.

Oz loves every part of his job, from collaborating with customers on designs and layouts to seeing a project come to life. He enjoys the whole process and variety of his job. Nothing beats walking a job site before anything is installed and visualizing the big picture and the finished product. He values his team’s mutual respect and teamwork, which makes every project run smoothly.

In his free time, Oz enjoys spending time with his family. Known for his big heart, Oz’s coworkers agree that he’s always willing to bend over backward for his friends and family. And for Oz’s words of wisdom? He encourages anyone looking to join the insulation or trades industry to build meaningful, long-term relationships with builders because they make all the difference.

Isac brings nearly two decades of industry experience to Battle Born Specialties and its customers. His career began in an insulation warehouse, where he loaded and unloaded materials. Over time, he worked his way up to division manager with an area insulation company. This hands-on journey gave him a deep understanding of the business from the ground up, and he is one of the keys to the success of Battle Born Specialties.

Isac’s favorite part of his role is creating opportunities for his team, helping them elevate to the next level of success. He also enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and delivering top-notch service. A true enthusiast for the building science behind the insulation process, Isac finds joy in making a positive impact for both employees and customers alike.

What stands out most to Isac about Battle Born’s customers is their loyalty and appreciation for the company’s values. With 80% of new business coming from referrals, he takes pride in being part of a locally-owned family business that resonates with the community.

For Isac, his team is like family. Spending so much time together has built a strong bond, and he values their dedication and camaraderie. While free time is rare, Isac is always looking for ways to better the business.
